I intend to start investing in positively geared properties (if I can find any) in Qld. I would like to sturcture my investments so that I minimise may tax and also protect my assests. In NZ you buy under a trust and a company runs the trust. does this also apply to Aust. thanks for any assistance Dianne [email protected]
Yes Diane, the same works here. You setup a a discretionary trust with a company as trustee.
