    Hi all

I hope someone can point me in the right direction!! I want to get rid of Citibank out of my life!! i am sick and tired of them stuffing up my mortage etc.

I want to refinance with an australian bank where i can get service and help when required. Can anyone point me in the right direction to check out/compare some loans. Are there any websites i can look at the see the features of some?
I realise there are some brokers on here who will say “go see a broker” I will if someone can recommend a Brisbane broker who is worth while. I would appreciate it!

    Hope you can help!

Quick Tip: You don’t always need a broker in your area – a lot can be done over the phone or the net.

I have heard great reports on the broker associated with propertyinvesting.com. I have not used them personally yet so I am only passing on “second hand knowldege”.

    Cheers,

    Pete

Let me know what you want in a loan and I will try to make some suggestions from my experience.

By all means apply direct if you prefer.

    Hi Wilko,
I’m in the same sort of position, and have recently spoken to Simon about using his services. He’s put me on to someone in Melbourne, and although I haven’t settled anything yet, I’m really happy with the level of service, and the interest rates that have been offered to me. Just my 2 cents.

    Thanks Hunter
Basically what I have now is a LOC as my primary loan(split with a part fixed)
I then ave other loans with other inst for my inv properties.
I am happy with my other providers(at this stage)

So in a nutshell I would like to either refinance my existing citybank loan or refinance it all if that was the better option.

My primary request for a loan is to be geared for investing in either property or shares.

    Thanks

    Hi Wilko,
I assume you are looking to refinance your PPR and extract the equity for future investment,
if so, you may want to look into the benefits of a split loan with a 100% offset linked to the non deductible portion of the split. Cheers.

    Hi wilko.

With that user name you surname wouldn’t be Wilkinson would it.If it is my surname is wilkinson also. So we could be related. Anyway you really don’t need a broker that is close by as everything can be don by fax or phone, as long as your feel comfortable with the broker that you deal with it doesn’t matter whereaouts in australia they are located. You will find most of the broker on here have heaps of experience.

Forgive me if you find heaps of spelling mistakes as I’ve been at the pub since 7.00 pm celebrating St Pats Day as my hubby is Irish.

As usual Steve is spot on with his advice.

I suggest you choose one of your current lenders that you are most happy with. Consider upgrading your current loan to the Pro Pack if possible which will save you fees for refinancing the Citibank loan.
