Is there legislations in South Australia that prevented rental managers from renting out each room individually on separate leases? I’ve contacted a few rental managers in metropolitan Adelaide and they are not very open to the idea. I was planning to buy a 2 bedroom house in low economic social area and possibly renting it back to welfare recipients on per room basis (however, the responses from rental managers were not good). I was wondering whether its illegal or the people in SA has not yet warm to this idea?
