Have finance – now need a block:)

Hi Guys,

Further to my post back in September 2004 (re: Building in New Estates?), I now have finance approval of up to $230k to purchase a block.

I’m looking around for a suitable block though I thought I would put up a post to see if anyone has any hot spots to look at – you don’t have to be specific – just an rough area would be good:)

My plan is to purchase the block now, then come back in a couple of years, build a new house on it, and sell it off.

I’m considering the following:

– A coastal block with ocean views
– A standard estate block which I can lease back to estate developers as a carpark
– A block where the surrounding houses indicate a good profit to be made if purchased and built on

Although bit of a remote location, I have been looking at the Exmouth Marina Village – does anyone have any thoughts on this?
