    Hi All,

Has anyone bought properties unseen? If so, what was the offer subject to?

Can you submit an offer for a property subject to finance, building inspection, pest inspection AND also subject to viewing of the property?

Only reason i ask is because i can find CF+ properties but none within reasonable driving distance to where I live.

    All held appreciated..

    Jason

I have bought most mine like this.

You can put whatever you like as a condition, just remember the more conditions you lodge, usually the less you can negotiate on price.

    Hi Jason X,

I have IP’s in NZ and all of them were bought unseen, apart from Internet photo’s.

Just the usual clauses, suject to ‘suitable’ finance, building report etc.

As Byronet said, not too many or the vendor gets scared.

As long as you do your DD you should be fine.

    Chers, Nobleone. [biggrin]

I recently purchased my first IP in Qld from Melbourne. It was too good a deal to let slide. I signed contracts here in Melbourne that i would buy the property “subject to viewing the property first and my desire to continue with the purchase after viewing”. I visited, saw ans purchased.
You can specify such a clause if you wish. You are the customer and the customer is “always right”. Well, most of the time anyway.
Good Luck on top of good planning.

My advice would be to atleast put it subject ‘to approval of building report’ and get an independent report done.

    Cheers,

    Pete
