A few months back I used a link to a site that showed a district, or you could zoom in close and see individual blocks, streets, etc. My dear, darling and sometimes irritating teen sons cleaned my computer as asked, but in doing so deleted all history. I am hoping someone out there knows the link?????

    Redhaven,

    Try these:

    Street Directory
    http://www.street-directory.com.au/aus_new/index.cgi
    Great maps for all states

    Whereisonline
    http://www.whereis.com.au/whereis/home.jsp
Great maps for all states including Directions Guides to help with mapping out routes

    Land Channel Map
    http://services.land.vic.gov.au/landchannel/content/interactivemap
You can zoom into individual blocks of land

Not sure if you want/need last one, just wasn’t sure if you meant “block” as in street block or block of land, hence thought I’d throw it in for good measure JIC.[biggrin]

    Cheers,

    Jo

Another one I use is the RACQ site. http://www.racq.com.au. Click on the link to travel, then road touring then travel planner.

this gives you estimated drive times and a detailed step by step method of reaching thew suburb.

    Cheers,

Wow you guys are AMAZING. I spent an hour searching and then ended up ringing dept resources and mining, to see if they can sell us a map. THANKYOU![biggrin]

Monopoly, the Whereisonline link I think was the one I used, but I was able to zoom right in and see the individual blocks…this time it wouldn’t go past the street size. The Vicgov link would be good but this is Qld…..I guess we may have to stick to buying a paper map after all? Thanks everyone for your efforts ‘though, it’s much appreciated.

    Re MAPS of individual blocks

Toowoomba City Council website has this, and it shows sewerage lines and zoning too. Great.
I would guess a lot of other councils of similar size would offer the same thing on their websites.
    I hope this helps you.

I will remember that for future info, thanks, however this land is outside of TCC jurisdiction (wow, try typing that when you’re tired!!)

    Thanks ‘though.
