I need some tax help. My current Accountant can barely do my personal taxes and is completely unapproachable and lazy. With several investments under our belt I am looking for any suggestions or recommendations for an Accountant in Melbourne (Metro) area. Specialising in, or experienced with Prop. Trust structuring and CGT etc….

I am wary about investing any further until I find one that is available face to face and is approachable on matters of Property. Some previous posts in this forum have produced zero responses to this topic. Is this some underground “cone of silence” in the property taxation world?

Or are we all so unhappy with our current Accountants, that we would not bother to refer them to strangers?

Come on guys and gals who do you use or recommend?

Please help. Thanking you in advance! Cheers.

I use Andrew Goldberger at Guests Accounting http://www.guests.com.au and couldn’t speak highly enough of him or his firm.

I believe Steve McKnight uses a firm called William Partners in Melbourne. Given Steve & Dave’s years spent as accountants, its probably pretty safe to assume that their accountant would be up to speed on property investing.

    Good luck
