I was out at Jacobs Well yesterday. It is between Brisbane & the Gold Coast on Moreton Bay. There is a big Sanctuary Cove like development going on out there. There has already been at least $30mil spent on it already.
There is something like 1,000- upmarket blocks going in. There is a real lovely boardwalk, and it will have canals, supermarket, cafes, irish pub and a marina. It also has direct access to the bay for large boats.
So any investors might want to look at established houses in Jacobs Well.

I had a look at Jacobs Well about 12 months ago when they were starting to do some work. Some of it didn’t look too bad but I thought property prices were up there then. What are they like nopw??
The other problem with JW is getting there. It’s a fair trip from the M1 to JW thru a lot of farming contry. I wonder if this will slow the development? I suppose 20 years ago they said the same thing about Sanctuary Cove!!

http://www.kentscollections.comMy family own property there. My feeling is – I don’t think it’s gonna be Sanctuary Cove #2, but there is upward potential there. It all depends on how well the development is done and then sold to outsiders. It used to be a little fishing village, I love the place. We’ll either develop or sell, not yet decided.

A friend of ours is the site manager out there, so we have been told exactly what is going in, how much the developer is spending and who the developer is. You will be amazed what is happening there in the future. Tip is also look at Taree, big development will be happening there in the future.
