Hi all,
Has anyone out there purchased a residential house and rented it back to their own business?
I am probably going to purchase this in my wifes name and charge myself slightly above market rent to get it close as I can to neutral if not positive.
Just wondering from people who have done this to buy property what to look out for etc etc. I’m in NSW

Speak to your accountant.
I rent rooms out to the business.
The wife and kids have to live somewhere so I have been advised to rent out a few rooms etc and it all is above board.
