    -Close meeting for networking.

Everyone interested in property or the forum is welcome to come along. (Having an IP is not a pre-requisite, only a motivation to do so.)

Why don’t you bring along a friend! (I am sure that we all know someone who can benefit in talking with other like minded people.)

Has anyone been to the Better Investing Group Brisbane meetings before?

I was wondering how people found it?

I’ve only read a couple of books [like a million other people] and have the desire to purchase property [like a million other people], so I am wondering if I should learn a little more before hand.

    Dear Announced,

BIG’s first official meeting was back in March 2003 with planning having begun from January 2003.

I am pleased to say we have now been having meetings for two years now and we regularly have 60 people come along to our meetings.

If you are looking for more detail feel free to look at: (Look past some of the fire.) or feel free to PM myself.

No need to know everything before you come along, BIG is a great place to learn. I often say that “students” can be the greatest teachers.

    Hope to see you there.

    Cheers,

    Shane/Sunstone.

Personally my favourite thread about BIG would have to be http://www.somersoft.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17236

Lots of good info in that thread :)

No offence to anyone, but why do so many people from here direct people to Somersoft. Are they not in competition to this site?

I may be biased seeing I got banned from there for being me! :)

    Dear Kerri,

Salisbury is on the Southside of Brisbane. In the link there is a map for the Construction Training Centre but let me know if you have trouble finding it in the UBD.

    You are most welcome there!

    Dear TMA,

Links are often used as it is an efficient use of time that saves one repeating themselves.

Competition. It all comes down to the purpose of why one originally joins a forum. If the intent is to learn and help others in a not-for-profit way then I think that the question is a non issue.

    Enjoy the journey. :)

    Cheers,

    Shane/Sunstone.

Hubby and I will be attending. I’ve been having withdrawal symptoms during the Christmas break. I love meeting everyone at the BIG meets. Hope to see you all there next Tuesday.

Doh, Unfortunately hubby will be working way out in Pittsworth today, and geographically it would be very difficult to get to Brisbane by 7.30pm for us. Never mind, there’s always next month.
