My main concern is how to get a start on the IP scene with a casual job, whilst studying. I understand the whole thing takes time, and a lot of effort, but how is someone supposed to get a start on a relatively low casual income, with no prospect of that income increasing for at least 3 years?

ANY suggestions would be welcome, and I would be particularly interested in creative solutions to this problem, as opposed to the innevitable ‘work more hours’ that someone is bound to reply with!

Thanks, and Merry Xmas & Happy New Year [biggrin]

    Just kidding…

This would be one of those situations where a money partner would come in very handy. They are simply someone willing to back your business plan to invest in property. It might be family or friends until such time as you can approach the lenders for money yourself.

    I hope this helps.

Save a deposit, stay in the same job, and change to fulltime just before you need finance.

    Or

Look at buying options on property.

    or

    Sandwich lease options. etc

Sounds easy, but it is not.

Partnership is best way for you either with Family or Friends.
    Good luck!
Another solution is to read as many books you can to get the idea on how to create an creative solution :)
