    Hi there,

If I was to buy a unit or townhouse, who is responsible for repairing anything that may be damaged or need replacing outside the building. Is that covered under body corporate, and if so how does that work?

Also what additions or repairs can I make to the inside, or a court yard (if it had one) or doesn’t it matter?

    Thanks,

    Ian

    Hi,
the body corporate are responsible for any common outdoor areas. As for any changes you want to make to the outside of your unit, these may have to go through the body corporate to get their ok. You should check the rules of your body corporate.
    Landt.
