    Hahaha,
as a relief day care assistant, I used to hang a sign on the door of my room (usually the schoolies – they are bigger than my feet!) – “Any children left behind after 6 O’Clock will be sold into slavery” . At first I thought I’d get kicked in the butt, but the parents all had a laugh and nobody was ever late when I was at work (it helps if you are sleeping with the manager and are the owners son)!

Another wonderfull, wonderfull comment is: Procrastination is like Masturbation! In the end you are only @#^%#@^$ yourself!I appologise for any-one that is upset by this language! I don’t lioke it myself but couldn’t help but laugh at it.

    Cheers

    I like Tony Robbins’ catchphrase:

    “LIVE WITH PASSION”

    Also, by Ferris Beauler:

“Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it!”

    Peace,
    Bradford[biggrin]

I too have far too many to name any real favourites, however, the flavour of the month (which btw started 6 months ago) for me, is:

    Whatever floats your boat…….[biggrin]

not funny like some, but unfortunatly true.

The only thing we have learnt from history, is that we have learnt nothing at all.

    Here’s another one I like.

Australia is an outdoor country. People only go indoors to use the toilet, and thats only a recent practise!

    mines my signature as well
another i’ve always liked is the nelsen mandela speech,
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate
our deepest fear is that we are powerfull beyond measure.
it is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
we ask ourselves, who am i to be brilliant, georgeous, talented and fabulous?
actually who are we not to be?
you are a child of god. your playing small doesnt serve the world
Theres nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people wont feel insecure around you
we were born to make manifest the glory of god thatis within us
its not just in some of us, its in everyone.
and as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
as we are liberatedfrom our own fear,
    our presence automatically liberates others.

    cheers all
    shaun

I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite saying or quote but one that I and I’m sure others can relate to.

When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us. – Alexander Graham Bell.

    Here’s one I do like.
“as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike”

    Cheers,

If I’m boasting, my father used this to cut me down fast:
“In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king…”

To describe a share trend that is going down, then goes up a little, only to go down again is a called “dead cat bounce”.

“It’s Easier to ask forgiveness than permission”

The funny thing about common sense is
    it’s not very common.

Why do they call it “common sense”? its not that common-it should be called “rare sense”!

How about “as happy as a dog in church” or “curled up like a dog humping a cricket ball”
