How a Trust works

Hi all,
Just wanted to see if someone could point me in the direction of finding out how a trust works? I am looking at investing in NZ and have seen numerous posts on setting one up. I did a search but couldn’t find anything on exactly how they work. Is there a website I can read info on or can anyone give me a run down? Thanks

Hi All,
A good starting point will be a book by N. E. Renton “Family Trusts” I have been reading it and it explains a lot of the termonology in basic language.
