    Hi All

Has anyone had success obtaining overseas finance for Australian investments. Would be very interested to hear of any success stories no matter how large or small.

    Regards

I used to live in Japan, and know that Aussie banks over there such as NAB will lend money in Yen at Japanese interest rates (around 2%) to purchase in Australia. But you must be living there and earning money in yen. If you move back to Australia, the loan must be repaid.

I’m also interested in this thread.

The interest rates in the US are quite low as well. I know there must be ways for Aussie residents to get access to this money as there were all these scandals with farmers getting foreign loans in the 80’s.
