Hey does anyone want to start a Fellow Forumite social group?
We propably all live in different states but we could all get together once a year at a pub (different state each year) and talk about property, life, and argue, debate, laugh, cry and generally have fun together.
Is anyone interested?
Like minded people need to bond together…

Sound like a good idea. At the moment I had a group of people who mainly from pi.com where we meet monthly to socialise and discuss about anythings and everythings.
I am from Sydney, so if you are too maybe we can meet up with other for a good drink or two.

Sounds great; my only problem is weekends are tough for me as I spend time with my kids. During the week is better, but even that can be difficult depending on whether I have been called out in the middle of the night, and am more interested in catching a few [sleepyanim][sleepyanim]

Sunday’s out for me, Tuesday might be good,
but where do we meet depends where we all are geographically, PM me where you live and we can brainstorm a place to meet in the middle of where we all are…

Hi Everybody,
I’m from Canberra, and would be happy to organise a group here if:
1. There is not already a group that meets in Canberra
2. There is enough interest from people.Bernie
I am the organiser of Sydney Investors Group. We have a monthly meeting on the second Tuesday of the month at Ashfield RSL Club.
Currently we have 14 members who regularly attend the meeting. I am looking for 3 more people to join us. I try to limit the number because when it is getting too big, it’s hard to organise.
