    hello,

we are about to rent a IP of ours. we want to get landlords insurance, has anyone got any reccommendations on which companies are cheap, but also good out there??

should i get home and contents seperately, and then landlords insurnce on top, or will it be better and cheaper to find a ‘1 stop insurance shop’ ?

    your comments are appreciated!

    thanks

Hi there, this was spoken about a while ago, try a search, that would be a good place to start.

Persinaaly I use CGU, I went rhrough a broker, easier than doin’ it yourself.

    Cheers

I also use EBM Insurance Brokers in Sydney (1800 800 544). Costs $240 per year for basic rent cover.

I personally don’t worry about contents but Home Insurance is a must along with Landlord Insurance.

Best investment you’ll make, especially if your tenant causes havoc.
