    this area has always demonstrated ‘good bones’ for me, what is the general consensus for long term investment – apartments in particular – around the $275 – $300k mark (2 bed, 1 bath, car space, security entry sort of style, oh, and not dog ugly) you know the drill…

    just how far “east” are you talking?
    I have one i.p. east,but there sure arent many apartments out that neck of the woods! Houses in great condition can be purchased for that amount further out than “the ‘burbs”.
    mine has had phenomanal growth (I guess so has everyone’s!) in the last 3 yrs,so i’m happy.
    So,depends on usual criteria…..where,when,why….is that anything like: “Location,location,location”?
