    Are valuations influenced downwards based on a higher LVR.

    That is, if I go for a loan based 80% LVR is the bank less likely to influence the valuation compared to a 90% LVR. (Assuming of course that banks do have some influence on the final valuation).

    georgisj, your last statement answers your own question. The banks do not have any influence over a valuation ( they shouldn’t anyway ). But obviously, the valuation will have an influence on the LVR.

    Valuations are not at all influenced by the LVR. Banks do not influence valuations unless they suck up and buy us a case of french wine…
