    Steve,

I think it is good on you that you donate the profits from your book to charity but I have to say I am disappointed with the bonus tape. I found I spent my money twice to get the same information as the tape very much repeats the contents of the book.

Within all the good work you are doing I believe you could do better with this tape.

    regards.

    luisman,

I don’t know the exact situation here, but having bought a lot of books & tapes I wouldn’t be surprised to find the same info repeated.

The idea is that you’re learning it through a different medium – audially rather than visually – so the information sticks better. Repetition is very valuable in forcing that knowledge to stay in most people’s brains.

In any case I find that it’s too hard to turn the pages of books while driving ;)

    Cheers,

    Hi,

Points noted. The tape was actually in existence before the book was written, and the potential for duplication is why it is so reasonably priced at $16.20 for book buyers.

In any event, Fast Track 2 is on the way, which will correct this issue.

    Cheers,

    Steve McKnight

in fasttrack 2, i would like to hear more on how they are doing it right now.. not 3 – 4 years ago. i would also like to hear on any new rules or variations on what they are doing different now compared to 3 years ago. that would be very valuable information, and i for one would buy it.
    just my 2 cents worth
    cheers

    Shaun,

We are still applying the same model as outlined in 0 to 130.

Buying positive cashflow deals and making money.

    Hi Steve, All,
One thing I’ve found with a tape (be it Fast Track, Tales From the Trenches, Kiyosaki, et al) is that it’s a great tool that I benefit most from by just replaying it over and over again in the car. When I head to work I’m in ‘anti job mode’ and it helps me get through the shift while, at the same time it reminds me ‘why’ I don’t want to work and helps me see a light at the end of the shift. The other reason I also play it over and over again for probably an even more important reason is because I always seem to pick up on something that I’ve heard before but I missed because I didn’t pay attention to it the previous time I played it. It also keeps the ‘momentum’ going while driving which allows you to leverage this time more effectively that would have otherwise been spent anyway (driving to work, shops, where ever. Try reading a Melways and drive at the same time and you’ll know what I mean!). I love Indy films and I’ll often see the same film 2 or 3 times because each time I learn something new (why the director chose that scene, why the narrative helps develop a character, etc). Good independent film writing is very similar to these tapes. Every word is there for a reason not just for the sake of it because you have a time limit and you cannot afford to put something in just to fill the gaps. Like I said. I play the tapes over and over again because my mood, attitude, etc always differs at the time and will dictate how much I really actively take in and listen to. Now the hard part! It’s all for nought unless I act on it!
    Cheers,
    Gatsby.

    Hi all,

Where’s the best place to acquire the book audio?
I live on the Central Coast NSW & travel to Sydney regularly for work. After reading the book twice now (1st time proof ) I’d definately benefit listening to it over& over so I don’t inadvertently miss some small detail which might have been important to me.

    Kindest Regards

    Hi,

You can pick it up from the online shop (see options in left hand menu). Be sure to include your discount cose as per the back of the book to buy at a reduced price.

    Cheers,

    Steve McKnight

    Hi Steve,
I can claim the cost of your books, tapes and kit as tax deduction before I own any investment property?

    Hi Steve,
I have just started reading your book, and was delighted to hear in your ‘Acknowledgements’ of your strong faith, which I also share. I am hoping to build a property portfolio like yours because I am seeking to finance a children’s charity which I started in Sydney four years ago and still run. Is it possible to speak with you about this?

Gatsby I reckon you summed it up perfectly. I too play the tapes and CD’s in the car every now and them and find I refocus again. Far far better than listening to the crap on radio and a fantastic use of driving time from A to B.
