    Hi to all,

Not sure if you’ve seen the front cover of the Herald Sun today – but it takes the entire cover showing a picture of a dear elderly woman who was killed for her ‘purse’ – What is happening these days for something so tragic as this to happen in our very own streets. So sad[glum][glum][glum]…

    Regards,
    George.

My heart goes out to her poor husband, they were insperable for 55 years, and he’s totally bewildered. Poor man.

    Keep smiling

Anyone who sets out to commit a crime like for example bagsnatching should, if death is a consequence of the act, be held accountable for a murder rather than manslaughter.

Even someone with half a brain ought to be aware of the possible dangerous consequences of their proposed crime.

Idiots who commit such acts should get life and not just get off on a 3 or 4 year sentence
‘because it was an unintended accidental outcome of their smallish crime’.

Society is just too lenient. Steal money and you get ten years, kill someone and get off with 3-5 years.

And do-gooders, please spare us the usual excuses about the person’s disadvantaged childhood.

All I know is that they will all find out on the last day.

Actually thats not true. Offences against the person, robbery and drug offences have increased as a proportion of prisoners from 51% in 1988 to 57% in 1998. Both the average sentence length and the average length of stay have increased for these offences. The number of sentenced prisoners has increased by an average 85% between 1988 and 1998 for these offences. So more people are going to jail for longer.

Over the same period in NSW the average sentence for murder has increased by 20% The median term of imprisonment handed down in 2001 by the NSW Supreme court for murder was actually 20 years.

hearing about that child abusing bastard in woolongong getting only 7 years is such a joke too. Anyone hurts my kids, out comes my ruger. No questions asked no excuses given.

    Happy investing!
