    Hi all,

    Is there a way to work out roughly the un-improved land value using information on the Rate Notice?

    Thanks

    the unimproved value should be on the rate notice, that’s usually what the council uses to work out the basic rates plus services.

    My unimporved land value is actually written on the rates. I guess its different in different areas? Seems strange.

    Our rate notice has GRV (Gross Rental Value), and the way they work out the basic rates is:
    GRV = 8000
    Rates = 8000 x 0.079 (residential rate)
    = $632

    but I don’t know how the above relates to the un-improved land value.
