We are in the process of buying a house on a corner block. Total area 50metres*20metres, the “corner* on the intersection of the two roads is 20m*20m and we are wondering if we could put a small transportable on this land?
Any smart forum person able to give us an idea?? We are in SA and know we will need to contact council etc, etc.
We are just thinking away and can’t do any phone calls till Tuesday which seems……… ages away…..when we are busy dreaming up plans at present!!

    Thanks, Diane

You havent provide a lot of info but In my state it is possible to put extra housing on a large block if!
    1. The block has the right zoning 2.you can apply to have the block subdivided but this can take time.3 most councils wont allow transportable houses and when they do the building codes are so strict that it is usually cheaper to just build a new unit .Russ.

So many +CF properties in Western Australia.Let me help you. And we can achieve a win win situation.Russ.0438 659 411

Thankyou. All we are really wondering is if there is enough room on the land. We are able to put a transportable there as that is what is already on the block.
