    I pay $59 pm for a 512 link with 8 Gig download.

Costs another $2-300 to setup initially.

Does that have to have a phone line?

Do you find that you go over your 8 gig download, in a month?

You need a phone line to use ADSL but it doesn’t stop the line being used like dial up does.

I have a website and do a lot of biz over the ADSl, my wife is a student and a heavy user and my daughters like to get music and we find we don’t go over ever.

There are unlimited plans for a similar price if you shop around.

    Try http://www.whirlpool.net.au for more info.

Whirlpool is a great site. I have big pond cable doesn’t use a phone line, it uses the cable laid down by foxtel. $69 per month no start up cost and 24 month contract unlimited downloads, but it slows down at 8gig of downloads. I believe that bigpond has another special on atm $59 unlimited for 12 months with either cable or adsl.

I hear that cable is the way to go if you have access to it. We don’t have it here yet.

Often here the phone bill is $90 a month. That’s there rentals and fees etc.. and the cost to dial in all the time.

The internet is $24.95c a month.

I’m trying to do away with the phone line!

I think i can pay for $50-60 a month for internet. And scrafic using the phone for only calls made up by the phone box, which i don’t need to do all that often.

    The feedback has been good.

There hasn’t been any complains. Accept for spelling mistakes or typo errors. Generally it’s going along OK.

Some people have said, good, well done…thanks.

The houseboat..!.. That’s a bit of a battle. Getting there!
