    Gday all, Ive been searching for + cashflow properties and keep coming back to the NT. Ive seen what appear to be very good deals on the net however my due diligence is coming up short in some areas. Population trends and vacancy rates among my biggest concerns and the info does not seem as readily available as other states. If anyone has property in the Palmerston/darwin area, could they please shed some light on these topics to aid in my decision making…

    i have 2 properties in NT and have always had them rented, no problem.
    one is a townhouse in nightcliff on casuarina dr (-ve cashflow )and the other is in Rosebery (+ cashflow ).
    management is high @ 10% + GST
    i have developed a couple of contacts there that have proven to be invaluable for advice. Plus I use the NT weekend paper and the internet for initial info on properties.
    I am looking at buying more properties there, though you do need to look a bit harder than you used to.
