Just had received confirmation of conveyancing costs for IP in QLd. It was approx $1400. It was pretty staright forward conveyancing.

Is this high, low or average from your experiences?

    Thanks

    Hi there
I just saw your comment about Conveyancing.
I am a Licensed Conveyancer in NSW and the price you just paid sounds like NSW prices not QLD prices. Its usually around $900 for Qld.

To clarify, the actual fee is $950. However, ther are sundry outlays, including many searces, which, when reading the letter in more detail, is actually asking me whether I want to proceed with these searches. This is a draft invoice…

Hi James, for simple straightforward conveyancing, try conveyancing works in Brisbane $295.00 plus outlays. My properties have cost around 5-600$ tops for purchases.

    Hi James,

Sounds quite high to me, we purchased in September 03 and solicitors costs were $450 + $340 for searches etc. At the time i thought this was reasonable, have since heard of Conveyancing works costs of $295, will be going there in future.

    Cheers
