Hey all you computer gurus that use Zone Alarm,

When I go to sites like ebay and emailcash.com.au an error comes up on the screen

    A runtime error has occurred.
    Do you wish to debug?

    Line: 6
    Error: Expected Identifier

    Yes No

Any ideas on how to stop this – besides killing the firewall if I want to go to those sites?

    Cheers
    Mel

    Hey Mel,

not to sure by what you mean, i just went to those same sites and no effect happened with the zone alarm here.

    Under the firewall/main tab.

what is your “interent zone security” set at and what is your “trusted zone security” set at?

kinda strange… but could be something to do with your current configuration set up…

    Cheers,
    sis

Muppet, I saw the doctor today, and she thought I was quite well, so that can’t be it [:)]

SIS, we’ve got the error ever since we installed ZoneAlarm. When I asked my friend about it (the one who built the computer for us), he said that you have to turn ZoneAlarm off to view ebay as the cookies don’t get through or something.

So that’s why I thought I’d throw it out there to you guys to see if you knew any way around it.

    Cheers

Yes Chan, I do believe you, but I think turning off my firewall may really defeat the purpose of having one installed!!

Talking about computer problems, why is it that when I click on a link, it doesn’t open the website lately?
