Just had a broad quote of between $1100- $2200 annual fee from my potential accountant to maintain my trust (to be set-up) and to complete all of the related compliance work.

Is this competitive or at the upper end of the market?

Do any of you maintain your own trusts??

It depends on what assets/investments your Trusts hold. My accountant charges about $100 for the trust return and then about $100 per property, extra per shares and capitals gains and business etc.
