    Hi all – just wondering what people’s thoughts on AYR in North Queensland are for +ve cashflow and/or capital growth.

    I live near ayr, it does depend on the sugar industry a fair bit so it does depend on what you think will happen to the sugar industry. The town it self doesn’t have too many prospects, it isn’t a beach town and does rely on the primary industries. close to townsville (1 hour). I think the town will be around for a while but growth??? I seriously doubt that rural towns like ayr will grow much.

    Just for curiousities sake, I used to live in a town called Ayr – in Scotland. Didn’t know much about +ve IP back then but in hindsight I should have put every dollar (pound) earned into IP as the rent was huge and the prices small – and now in the middle of a big boom!!!

    Ahhh – the beauty of hindsight….20/20
