Okay, aussie rogue has stumped us all, so how many smarty pants are out there?

In a game of cricket, two balls have been bowled, both batsman have six runs

As the redhead once said, “please explain”

Is it the very start of the innings?

If not, end of one over, start of next, both have hit a 6.

    Cheers

“end of one over, start of next, both have hit a 6.”- Come on mel, even my mother could guess that! LOL

” Is it the very start of the innings?” Sure is mel, certainly is.

    This one is easy

Batsman 1 hits the ball and they run a 3. The throw at the stumps goes for 4 overthrows = 7. But there has been “one short”.

Next ball, batsman 2 on strike – hits a six.

No, GrizzlyBear has it right. There is only one solution but I think wrappack did not give all the clues.

I was thinking about the overthrow issues, but couldn’t get a 6 – didn’t think of the ‘short run’.

Well done Dave. Now, can you solve Aussies riddle. He’s run away without answering the questions.

    Cheers
