    Hello,
Can anyone tell me why, according to the loan documents I’m about to sign, I’m being charged a fee of $800+ to be paid to the Department of Natural resources? Is this normal?

    Thanks,
    Anastasia

Sounds strange to me, but I dont have any rural properties. Mine are only in surburbia.

    Ask them why?

Call your solicitor or conveyancer. They will know exactly what is going on.
