    Hi
I am new to this site and would like some advice on procedures to purchase a “shelf company” in order for me to then setup a ‘trust unit’portfolio.

    Kind regards

Go to http://www.corporateexpress.com.au/ to set up a new company. It only costs $921

http://www.LawCentral.com.au is a site that I have come across recently. they can set a trust up for you for $275 (plus stamp duty). lots of good info on there too.

Hope this doesnt sound like a silly question, but can you tell me what a ‘Shelf Company’ is?

Does it mean a Warehousing Company, because that’s what I thought the Company : Corporate Express does.

    Thanks.
    S.

shelf company is a realy made/set up compnay that you can buy it right away. You don’t need to form a new company waiting a few days.
