    Take my significant other out to dinner again to make up for all the stress we’ve been through the past 2 months while purchasing my latest investment property.. lol.

    Seriously though, I’d probably whack it into my first loan repayment for this property. Maybe in 3 months I’d have a better idea on how to invest it.. but at the moment ‘settling’ into the new mortgage repayments is my main priority.

    What kind of car do you have sis?

    $50 in property… well, it could buy a gift for tenant or PM or accountant or solicitor etc. $50 could be a good lawnmowing job for your new IP.

    Or, as sis said, petrol to check out some IP’s :)

    Or one could just get a haircut so as not to look scruffy when talking to RE agents ;)

    pinky – whats yr take on the new couple – cant decide if they are nice down to earth people of just a tad scary……

    the think that makes me think they are a tad scary is that initially he said that the thing that wld set them apart from the other 4 couples was ‘talent’ and then he proceeded to play/sing the worst guitar song i have heard for a long time. an im sure he thinks he was pretty good.

    makes me think he is a beer short of a six pack..

    what do you think??

    lol @ being a beer short of a six pack!!

    the new couple were voted in (me thinks) as being LESS competition than some of the others….hence being easier to get rid of.

    As for that blonde whiner…..damn I hope she goes first!! (the one that slept in…..I cant be bothered remembering her name LOL)

    You won’t be able to buy much hot chocolate for body smearing for $50.

    And yeah, how are the rats, cats and all the other pets including rAty? Have they all settled down in the new place?

    Regards

    The cats we have (2 still missing) and the rats are fine!! After losing 2 dogs…….we went and adopted the most sweetest (dumbest, ripping everything up and god help my washing) kelpie cross from the Lost Dogs Home.

    Arty is working hard (so he tells me) and hates that he doesnt get time to Forum.

    the house………hahahahahaha PLEASE DONT ASK!!! We have had gas leaks and sewerage leaks….the dishwasher is on the fritz and the ducted heating died from god only knows what disease. The gorgeous mutt we saved from Death Row brought home fleas so ALL the animals have them now LOL (I swear Arty wont stop scratching hahahahahaha)

    Hi SIS

    I’m a big spender. Usually I don’t know how much I have in my bank account. Once work didn’t pay me for weeks I only found out when I run out of money. Can’t help it. Let’s see what I can do with $50:

    With $50 —-> charity or
    1000 * $50 —-> charity + parents + DIY renovations
    2000 * $50 —-> charity + parents + deposit PROP for 1 kid
    5000 * $50 —-> charity + parents + deposit PROP for 2 kids + deposit for 1 IP

    Cheers

    Huey

    I’d make the $50 do the work of $100,000s

    Here’s how…..

    I’d find somebody who needed $50-.

    I’d lend the $50 to them on 2 conditions that must be rigidly enforced…..

    1) They must never repay the money back to ME.
    2) When they are in a position to be able to repay the $50- in full, they must find somebody else who needs $50 and lend it to them on these same 2 rigid conditions.

    This way, the $50 gets passed around, helping … well, who knows how many people!

    It makes my $50 go a long, long way! [:)] How cool is that!
