Does anyone know of a software package that contains up to date maps down to suberb or street level on which you can place notes or links to other files.

What I would like to be able to do is place markers on the areas that I have found properties and include links to excel spreadsheets that contain the details and figures of them.

I do not imagine something like this would come cheap though.
