    Hi Guys

Way to go. The SAs require another 108 runs with 5 wkts in handing and 13 overs to go.

Muppet, I think the Kiwis have another win coming up. 45 off 17 with only 3 left, and Pollock has a runner!!

Aussies 0/30 off 6 against Sri Lanka. Long way to go there….

    Cheers
    Mel

Now the SA require 27 off the last over.

    It went as follows: 1 6 2 6 6 (6 required off last ball)

Mills finally got it right – bowled a yorker. Dot ball – Kiwis win (just)

Couldn’t let the Super 12 results slide by without a dig , Muppet.

What happened to those glorified, All Black loaded, 2003 finalists on the weekend?

    1. I think I could have made better LBW decisions than that Sri Lankan umpire. There were 3 blatant plumb decisions that he gave not out when Sri Lanka were batting.[:(!][:(!]

    2. It’s rugby season now not cricket season, so who cares.[:p][:p]

    3. This is only for NZ versus the mighty Aussies. If we start talking about other countries, your points tally might start looking as hopeless as the Crusaders back line. [:o)][:o)]

    P.S. I’m not competitive am I?

    Hi Rugbyfan

You haven’t commented on my post in Muppet and Westan’s sports talk. Is that coz you are a bit upset with the weekend results.

I still can’t believe last years finalists were thrashed by the two Aussie teams. Well Canterbury was anyway, the brumbies/blues match was a great spectacle and quite close untill the last 20 minutes.

I only got 2 tips right in my tipping comp too. I bet against the Waratahs, and I am from NSW!

Of course I am upset at Saturday’s results.
However one week’s results do not make finalists at the end.

Remember the Crusaders a few years lost 4 of their first 5 games and still became Super 12 Champs.

The Aussie teams don’t have the depth of players that the NZ teams have.

    Watch out for the Chiefs.

    Muppet

I agree with your comment on the Chiefs. They are a bit like NSW in that they sometimes look very promising. Each year they get better and better. I just don’t know how Roger Randle hasn’t made it into All Black colours more consistently. For mine, two years ago he was the best winger in NZ rugby.

I hope they do well this year too. Lets hope for a Chiefs/Waratahs final eh!

    Hi Rugbyfan

Dear Roger Randle got up to some hanky panky in South Africa when he was with the Hurricanes some years ago and I think that blotted his copy book for becoming an All Black.
Also of late he has the occassional injury at the most inopportune time.

    Hi Guys

Black Caps whip the South Africans by 6 wkts and 1 over to spare, thanks to a couple of huge Cairns sixes.

    Now lead 3-1.

Muppet, I bet there were a few hearts in mouths when Carlos passed the ball across the posts. Really stupid thing to do and he was very lucky to get away with it. It could have been another Campo moment if it had not worked.

Yes he scored a try out of it, but I bet the coach was not happy.
