I would like to know how I can rent out a rental property. I don’t wish to live in the property just manage it and rent it to students. Is this possible? How can I do this, should I be up front to the real estate agent or will I have to lie. Any one have any ideas.

I’m guessing that you are currently a renter, and you wish to sublet the property to students?

There’s been a couple of posts on here discussin that option recently. Do a search and see if you can locate them – from memory they were fairly informative, lively discussions.

    Cheers

Your current lease probably prohibits this without the landlords written permission. So start by checking it, and then write to the owner if necessary.

Becareful of things like damage to the property. If the new tenants damage it, you will be liable to the landlord.
