If anyone has any experience buying properties that were owned by the NSW Housing Commission I would be interested to hear what they are. They seem to be very affordable and at first blush a good investment but I have a number of concerns about the quality of the building and whether there are diffculties getting good quality tenants.[8)]

I have bought a number of these. Generally they are in the less desirable areas. As for quality of the building, I’ve found them to be quite well built but usually knocked around by the tennants a fair bit.

With a bit of a spruce up they look quite good and wrap very well if that is your strategy. The ones I have as straight rentals dont attract a high standard of tennant so I’ll be wrapping them as soon as I can.
