Is a weekend like this good idea for one who would like to have a good look at the markets in country towns, evaluate areas, suburbs , buildings and prices.
I am fairy new to this +IP ideas and feel this may give me some experience.

I don’t think one can get much idea in this trip as if you are going 10 town in 2 days how much time you can spend in one town? They will be showing all their property from outside and 1-2 from inside. But you get some idea for sure.

Actually i think it will be a great trip, being able to meet some of the forum members and sharing each others thoughts, but having like minded people in the same interest…. will prove that this trip may be worth its while.

And the food i heard is really really good.

I look forward to going. mmmmmm food

Matt, no- not married- but you knew that surely :+P

I think i was married, I would have less time to do many things. While I’m unencumbered, I can follow *my* interests. Won’t be long now until I am married, but until then, I’m gonna be a property predator :)

    >>And the food I heard is really really good.<<

Yeh, brown beans, cheap but healthy.

    >>Actually I think it will be a great trip, being able to meet some of the forum members and sharing each others thoughts, but having like minded people in the same interest…. will prove that this trip may be worth its while.<<

Two things are for sure i.e. it will be more than sharing thoughts. You won’t be put up in 5 ***** accommodation, it will be sharing rooms in a motel.

Secondly, some people fart in their sleep.

    Pisces133,

Food won’t be cheap incase you are going as I been to their trip so don’t worry about beans etc. I bet you will love the food if you go with them. [8D]

You will get seprate room. No sharing rooms.

How you got all this idea about cheap food and share rooms etc??[:(!]

    Hi Kay,

It will be interesting to read your report.

I would have loved to go on the tour but unfortunately have family commitments that weekend.

    Good luck! :)

Here we are Mid morning Sunday and I bet that the best “deal” they can find is in Parkes on some brand new villas ……

Just quietly have a look who is the vendor of these “deals” and spend the $ 16.30 to do an ASIC search to see who is behind the deals …..

    Hi Guys,

For me personally, its not just sourcing deals and drive bys on a bus going through each town quickly, there will be opportunities, were we get time to wander around at some towns. In this opportunity, i will take the privilge of seeing some real estate agents immediately,

on the drive bys on the bus, ill be taking down real estate agents numbers advertised on there buildings, the opportunity to talk to other investors on the bus.

Yet also when we do dock in for our overnight accomodation, will also take the opportunity to talk to locals of were such towns, or even little towns by that have very cheap property up for sale, or were we might be able to source out some really good +ve cashflow deals.

I think this experience for both me and Kay, will give us a first hand knowledge of these towns, but also real knowledge of them, rather than accessing internet data.

If we dont learn nuthing, hey at least we got a free weekender, and if we do, it could be one thing, that gives us that edge and knowledge, that could be priceless.

cheers guys, hope to see some of you there

I’ve hear rumours about the person behind this company. If anyone would like to message me privately, I would be happy to publish any details relating to this.

Given that we’re a public forum, and we are out to help each other- are we? then I would like to have some *proof* of this person’s association to the company, and I’ll put up what I know. Or do I have to do the ASIC check myself? If anyone can help me out here, I’ll just trasparently post emails about this gentleman’t activities. If no proof, then I am not going to publish and be accused of defamation.

I do things transparently- someone help me out here.
