Is there any way of being able to see any posts that I have made in the past? Its sometimes hard to remember which posts I have made where, so I would never know if I got a reply.

    Hey Phil,

At the top of each page you view when using the discussion boards, you will see a link entitled “Search”.

You can select a certain user name (in this case your own) from a list of all those who have ever signed up for the forum, and then enter particular keywords to search for the message that you want to find.

    Hope this helps,
    YI.

    Thanks YI,

This is a way of working around the problem – although having to put a search word (I have put in a vowel in the search field in order to bypass the error message if I fail to put in a search word) is not the ideal. On other forum sites I can either opt to receive an email when a post has been replied to or I can click on a button to see my past posts. Also having to search for your profile name amongst hundreds of others in the dropdown is also time consuming.

Not one to gripe though – fantastic to have such a great site!

    Phil
