    Hi guys..
Anyone in Victoria, built a KitHome? Could you recommend a company that are worthy of doing business with? Any other information would be great (how you went, any hidden traps etc), thanks,
    Steve.

Make sure you have your finance squared away first.

Most major lenders need it put together by a builder on a fixed price contract.

Owners builders are not popular at all!

i am currently building a kit home. actually the kit home company are building the home for me…

its on a beachside block on the bass coast.

its great value, no fuss and some of them are fantastically designed. get them to build it, apply to the council for all the necessary permits etc…….

make sure you get a fixed quote that includes everything….

    where are you building???

    cheers

    ACTUBE

WELL DONE – IF YOU BOUGHT YR BLOCK IN LOCH SPORT IN THE LAST FEW YEARS YOUVE HIT THE JACKPOT

ITS STILL GOOD VALUE BUT PRICES GONE UP

THE MOB IM USING ARE BASED IN WONTHAGGI

    http://WWW.COLDONHOMES.COM

MOST OF THERE DESIGNES ARE BASIC BUT YOU CAN GET THEM VARIED TO LOOK MODERN ETC. I THINK THEY ARE THE BIGGEST BUILDER IN THE AREA. NOT SURE WHETHER THEY WILL DO LOCH SPORT BUT GOOD CHANCE

COSTS FOR HARDIPLANK OR BRICK ANYWHERE BETWEEN 40 AND 140 K….

EXTRA COSTS FOR SEPTIC / ELCTRICITY / WATER AND IF YOU WANT TO BUILD YR HOUSE ON STILTS!!!!

MINES 12 SQ 3 BEDROOM HARDIPLANK FOR 70K PLUS EXTRAS (I HAVE A STEEP BLOCK NEAR THE BEACH)

    GOOD LUCK
