We are travelling overseas for a year to work
leaving in a month and would like to know if its
possible to arrange a construction loan before we depart. My wife is fully employed at the moment on $40,000, I am not.We have a fortnightly family payment of $136. We have $100 000 cash, the land to be settled in Feb next year is $90 000 and the construction amount is $160 000.ppor to be built in July 2004.

If the mortgage brokers have any ideas please let me know and I will contact you asap.

    Thanks
    Clinton

If the $100 000 cash is to be used for the purchase then this should be fairly straightforward.

I would suggest moving as fast as possible in order to have everything sewn up before you depart – last thing you want to do is to sort this stuff out from overseas, I worked OS for 3 years and know what that was like[:D]
