    Hi Guys

I live in Seoul South Korea.

    G’day Bigfella,

You’re along way away, it would be hard to organise a meeting with you. How are the investment opportunities where you are?.

    Regards

Wow am I the only one in Adelaide?!!
    Or did I miss one?
I live approx 10km from CBD, own investment property down south by the coast in fleurieu pennisula which is where I spend a lot of my weekends with friends and family.

Don’t worry I’m from Adelaide and I’m with a group called Platinum Partners Group.
We have been buying property as a group for the last 12 months. Great fun, great discounts as we buy in bulk. Have been helping others get into investing. It’s great getting together and networking with like minded people.
We would love to here from anyone. We can help.

    Jancrows,

Will the train help the real estate market up there? What’s the vacancy rate?

    Thanks

Do a search on “NT” here as there have been a few thoughts on tenancy vacancy rates/short term tenancys. There is a current thread too. Dec/Jan is generally peak period.
I dont think “the train” will have a huge impact.
Sealing of the road from Adelaide to Alice and National Highway upgrades on the Stuart and Barkly did more to open up the frontier.
Anyhow agree this is an interesting thread to see where everyone if from – quite diverse.
    Regards to all

    Hi

I live in Aspendale (beachside suburb of Melb – about 28kms from cbd – I think????).

I invest in Mentone and Frankston. No rural stuff. At least management and repairs hassles can be addressed locally.

Some positive, some negative geared but its long term growth i want.

    Cheers
