    astrid zoe aussierogue landed on the 25th november at 11.20 am

    a small 6 pounder and good looking like her mum

    gets annoyed easily like her old man……..

    mother is doing excellent

    Congrats! I’m psyching myself up for #3 just before Christmas. I came home yesdy to find my wife mowing the lawn on the grounds that physical work might bring on labour…

    thks rodc – few complications to start with but all ok now

    rubbachook – wow number 3 – yeh my wife had spurts of energy in the few days b4 labour. she did all the vacumming / housework etc…..

    kavita – not much sleep. have stayed a few nights in hospital – great for the bonding thing but im getting a bit cranky on 4 hrs sleep

    hi diclem – lol – yes interesting surname isnt it. its swahilee for ‘clan who cant spell’

    Lovely name!

    The term for a preggy women going and doing the washing, mowing, vacuuming etc (at all hours of the day/night) is called ‘Nesting’ (usually occurs in very late stage of pregnancy – almost as an indicator that the time is near).
    I think I did the washing at 3am the day Pip was born. With Simon I was cleaning my bedroom, the house, the shower…etc etc.. “Wax on Wax Off”
