Anyone that saw ACA on Monday night will know what I mean. People were investing hard earned money with this guy to smuggle US $100 notes. The “notes” (I use that word loosely) were supposedly covered with ink so they couldnt be detected by customs. This guy apparently knew how to clean the notes and was set to make a squillon.

Then the investors cry foul when they lose their money.

    When will people learn.

    G’day Steve…

    You misread the Story mate…

He told the Investors he was trading in Currencies. The “money laundering” or whatever it was, is what he was conned into. He was as thick as two bricks, buggered if I know how people invested anything with him.

    Cheers

    Bill

actually the investors were sucked in by the car valuation scam (how he ‘legally’ obtained the funds from the public to invest) and promised to make a fortune trading currencies with it. he failed as a trader and resorted to nigerian type scams to get the money back.

    stupid is as stupid does
