Don’t know any websites but you can get a good idea by looking at advertised new house prices in your area from a variety of builders. Better yet phone some builders, quantity surveyors, valuers or even draftspeople.
You didn’t mention house size or fitout quality but here in WA a single story good quality single level home may be $700 per m2 and a 2 level home of similar quality say $900 per m2.
With 2 level houses things like external render finish instead of face brick can add to cost because of extra scaffold time.

Also spend some time looking at project homes. Often you will be able to obtain a better price than from normal builders.

Just remember that whatever price they quote you will be increased by site costs, difficult access problems etc which you may not realise will add to the cost when you get told the price of the display home you are looking at.

A project home builder would still be happy to quote you on plans custom designed for you.

Much better actually to have a plan drawn up to your requirement as a project home may not necessarily fit or suit your block.

Go to the newsagent and buy the project and kit homes magazines. They have heaps of designs and prices for all types of homes, single, split level, 2 storey.

And yes, they do give their web sites. This particular mag is called Build Home and the web site for it is http://www.buildhome.com.au. They have a WA advertising manager.

Just looking at a couple in a best project and kit home book – 2 storey looks fantastic, 31 squares, from $136,000. They usually give the basic price, it’s what you add or any changes you make. Another, $206,000 – 35 squares, yet another $286 basic price, for 45 squares.
