    Hello everyone,
Just a quick question regarding LMI.
I have heard from various sources that if you paid LMI when you took out a loan and then paid out your loan or refinaced within two years you can be reimbursed a portion of the money you paid in LMI.
    Can anyone confirm this?
If so, could you please explain how you go about redeeming this? Who do you speak with?
We are about to sell our home and would like to begin chasing this up if we can as we paid close to $5000 in LMI. As you can imaginewe would be very keen to redeem any amount owed to us.
    Thanks in advance.[:D]

    Damien,

It is true and you will need to approach your bank directly.
