    Hello! [:)]
I am new to i/net forums,+ not good on computers,
    but here goes!
I saw Steve McKnight on TV by accident one evening
in Sept.I got so excited I bought his book from
    the bookshop(ordered in).
Read it all, perhaps too quickly.
Now I need help/advice from You out there!!!

I do NOT wish for 130 props. in 3.5 years:
I do NOT wish for 13 props. in 3.5 years:
    I WOULD like to have 5-6 props.in 3.5 years,when I turn 55 years of age.
I have 1 property which became +ve geared this year, due to throwing lots of $ at it recently.

Because of this, we have to pay more tax this year;my accountant, whom I trust, says we must now buy another property (neg.gear) to OFFSET the +ve
    one!!!
Steve says dont neg.gear any prop!??

A local agent says you cannot pos.gear property
in 2003, unless you have a large enough deposit
(40-50K) to equal the rent being more than the
    loan repayments !!!

Also, in the book(8/03) examples show purchase
    price $100K, dep=20% 20K , loan $80K.

WHERE? not in Melb.,or any Capital cities !!!

As you can see, I have conflicting advice. HELP!

Oops! I wanted to be on Specifically Property,
not Forum Fun! How do I change over??
