we have a 7 year old whose name is Sarah…Two nights ago she hurt herself when she stepped on a lego block in the dark. OUCH!!! She was sound asleep and she thought she heard me calling her so she got up..needless to say there were tears and confusion.
Then during tea last night..she kept yelling YES MUM?? The penny dropped!!!!!!!!She thought I was calling SARAH…when I was calling TERRA…my rat!!!

So last night….to stop all confusion…..I renamed my rat PEPPER. Im a little shattered….coz I loved the name terra LOL but I cant have my daughter walking around yelling YES MUM everytime I talk to the rats LOL

Ahhhhhh the things we do [:D]

I’ve got an idea. Change Sarah’s name, and then you can call your rat Terra!![:O]

    melbear….

I recon you shouldnt have to name a child until about 5 years..then you can name them based on who they are .. ie..”complainer”..”guts”..”neat freak”.. etc..

You dont know what they are like at birth.. LOL [:D][:X][:D]

    Arty.

melbear.. its weird.. the eldest may have more attention for 2 years and being by herself, then when number 2 came the attention would have been halved, etc. .. im guessing.. [:)]

The eldest always wants wants wants, and it must be her way, she “knows” how everything works, and is confident enough to try without thinking first… [:)]

The youngest is always helpful, opening doors, asking if you are ok if you hurt yourself, quietly spoken, a bit afraid to try something different…etc. [:)]

    Regards,
    Arty.
