]I keep reading references to buying IPs in New Zealand, but how does one get finance for NZ when you live in Oz – or are these posts all cashed up and investing?
I didnt think it was possible to do this. My brother is chopping up his beach side farm (in NZ) and has offered me a block for $300,000 NZ (his at cost price) of which are currently selling for up to $900,000, but I am unsure if it is possible to even raise the finance, though I have approx $293 in equity here in OZ.
Would appreciate any trans tasman finace advice. CheersHi Sunshine

Thanks muppet, I did check it out – good site and helpful as a starting off point for research. Am now familier with associated persons and assessments etc which would seem to apply in this case.
Just need to see if I am up taking the leap off the fence. Worst case scenario would be that I would have to move there and live in a caravan!Still researching. Thankyou[
