    Hi
Can anyone tell me where I can find the statistics on a choosen area. I would like to know how many people rent compared to owner occupied. I was reading an article in the Property Investor where they showed the percentage of fully owned, being purchased, rented, other and unoccupied property for several areas. Where did they get that info? Or is it only availabe to big firms?
    Thanks[?]

I think it can be gathered for free via a link from http://www.realestate.com.au

The basic breakdown of rent vs own, age groups, education, religion etc by postcode. Actual sales data is not free however.
